Fall into your new skin routine!

It's officially pumpkin spice season a.k.a fall! We're going to the pumpkin patch and watching scary movies, but we also need to be changing our skin care routine. Leaves are starting to fall because the weather is drier, imagine what it's doing to your skin!

+ Keep your skin moisturized!

Switch to a gentler cleanser, and up your moisturizer. Lock in that hydration! If you've been on the fence about starting HA (Hyaluronic Acid) now is the perfect time to start! It's a water binding molecule that can hold up to 1000x its weight, giving your skin that extra moisture hold!

Apply your HA first, then apply your moisturizer. You can do this both morning and night.

- My Product Picks:

+ Ease up on the exfoliation!

I usually recommend exfoliating 2-3x a week, but in the dryer months I suggest cutting down to 1-2x a week. To maintain a glowy complexion, now is a great time to add in brightening ingredients into your regimen. Vitamin C is all the goodness you need to fight any damage from free radicals, preventing or combatting any dark spots from the summer months.

+ Use a humidifier!

Honestly, this is such a game changer for me. I've had one in my room for years and sleep with it every night. It helps keep your skin radiant and moisturized, fills in fine lines, and can generally make you look and feel better.

-My Product picks:

+ SPF!

Lastly, SPF is not seasonal. It is a year-round, 365 days a year product. The sun is not your skin's friend, and the rays don't go away just because it gets cooler. If you are taking care of your skin, but not wearing SPF you are literally wasting your time and money. SPF is your BFF!
